Rheumatology is a branch of medicine, a specialty in internal medicine and pediatrics, dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases. Doctors who specialize in this specialty are called rheumatologists. Their work is mainly related to joints, soft tissues, autoimmune diseases, vasculitis and hereditary tissue diseases.
