We have observations on the positive response to Shockwave procedures (Shockwave therapy) in children with Cerebral Palsy. Most noticeable is the reduction in the spasticity of the limbs as soon as after the first procedure. The passive volume of movement in the joints increases (ankle, knee, elbow and shoulder joint). The posture and the gait improve, new independent movements in everyday life are added. The procedure is well tolerated by children because it is short and painless.
In two of our patients, we conducted the consecutive treatment with HBO and Shockwave /5 procedures/ and we have an extremely good effect.
