Dr. Bozhidara Kostova

Dr. Bozhidara Kostova is a specialist in medical oncology in Stara Zagora. Her interests are in the treatment of breast cancer and gastrointestinal tumors. She also has experience in the treatment of other oncological diseases.

Dr. Kostova does not examine children.

Education

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Thrace University, Stara Zagora in 2017 and has a specialty in Medical Oncology. In 2020, she graduated with a master's degree in Health Management from the Dimitar A. Tsenov Svishtov Academy of Economics. Lecturer at Thrace University, Stara Zagora.

- International trainings on therapeutic approaches in the treatment of various oncological localizations in Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Slovenia, Romania, Cyprus, Croatia

- Member of the Bulgarian Medical Union, Young Oncologist Club and Institute for Research on the Treatment of Breast Cancer;

- Participation in national and international congresses and seminars in the specialty, scientific conferences with clinical cases and in poster sessions;

- Author of articles related to the treatment of oncological diseases in several medical publications, including Medikron, Medic Plus magazines;

- Active participation as a lecturer in various oncological scientific forums.

Biography

Since 2017, Dr. Kostova has been practicing at the Complex Oncology Center Stara Zagora until now. She is fluent in English and Russian.

From 2024 Dr. Kostova is part of the HBO Medical Support Center team.
