Dr. Rumyana Ivanova

Dr. Rumyana Ivanova is a specialist gastroenterologist in Stara Zagora with over 24 years of medical experience.

She diagnoses, treats and monitors patients with diseases of the digestive system - esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, biliary system, liver, pancreas.

Her professional interests are in the field of chronic liver diseases. Dr. Ivanova does not examine children.

Education:
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Thrace University, Stara Zagora in 2000. She obtained her specialization in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in 2009 and 2012.

Qualifications:
Member of the Bulgarian Society of Gastroenterology and Ultrasound in Medicine and the Bulgarian Medical Union;
Certificates: Abdominal Ultrasound I, II, III Level and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy I and II Level;
Participation in numerous national congresses and seminars in the specialty

Biography:
From 2000 to 2004, Dr. Ivanova worked as a resident physician at the Kazanlak Federal Medical Center, and from 2005 to 2009, she practiced in the Internal Medicine Department of the Kazanlak General Hospital. Since 2010, she has been working in the Gastroenterology Department at the Trakia General Hospital, Stara Zagora, and is currently part of the team of specialists at HBO Medical Support Center (HBO Medical Support Center).
