Iontophoresis

Iontophoresis is a method of treatment which uses a direct galvanic current. It is transmitted to the body through electrodes placed in moist hydrophilic pads. A drug may be dissolved in the solution moistening the pads, depending on the disease's specificity and the objective condition of the patient.
